The four-star prospect also listed Oregon, LSU, Penn State, and Ohio State as schools that he is still considering, leaving the Longhorns as the only in-state option remaining.
Texas is considered the heavy favorite for Green's services, as all 10 Crystal Ball projections favor the 'Horns as the landing spot for the Houston native.
Green was offered by the 'Horns on January 9 and took an and has visited campus numerous times. He may be back on the Forty Acres on Friday for Texas’ ‘Stars at Night’ events..
The 6-0, 171-pounder is known for his physicality at the line, which he complements with solid speed.
The 'Horns currently have a trio of elite safety commits in BJ Foster, DeMarvion Overshown and Caden Sterns, but do not have a corner commit yet. In addition to being the potential favorite for Green, Texas is also in excellent standing with four-star Houston Lamar cornerback D’shawn Jamison and in a good position with his teammate, five-star talent Anthony Cook.
Green is ranked as the nation’s No. 53 overall player, the No. 8 cornerback and the No. 5 player in Texas, per 247Sports Composite.
