Following a sophomore campaign in which he passed for 2,318 yards and 26 touchdowns in addition to another 1,650 yards and 30 touchdowns with his legs, Johnson has seen his recruitment take off throughout the spring as he’s continued to impress at various camps.
Johnson has since been the Longhorns 2019 priority at quarterback and on Friday night, Herman and his staff got their guy.
A 6’0.5, 192 pound prospect, Johnson is ranked as 2019’s No. 159 player, the No. 3 dual-threat quarterback and the No. 20 player in Texas, per 247Sports Composite.
