On Wednesday evening, Texas threw its name into the mix with another target in the trenches by extending on offer to Ole Miss defensive tackle commit Israel Antwine.

A three-star prospect out of Oklahoma City Millwood (Okla.), Antwine committed to the Rebels on May 24 over a variety of options including TCU, Colorado, Missouri and SMU, among others. His Texas offer becomes invitation No. 12 to date.
The ‘Horns, on the other hand, have now extended offers to seven defensive tackle targets, but despite having the nation’s No. 4-ranked class, Texas is still without a pledge along the defensive line.
At 6’2.5, 286 pounds, Antwine is ranked as the nation’s No. 743 player, No. 55 defensive tackle and the No. 13 player in Oklahoma, per 247Sports Composite.
