One of the Texas Longhorns top 2019 targets has a decision date in mind.
On Oct. 1, five-star Cuero wide receiver Jordan Whittington will choose between Texas, Florida, Texas A&M and UCLA.

The Longhorns currently hold the edge in Whittington’s Crystal Ball with six of the eight projections favoring Texas.

A do-it-all star for Cuero, Whittington stuffed the stat sheet as a sophomore, rushing 41 times for 336 yards and four scores, hauling in 44 receptions for 797 yards and 12 touchdowns, in addition to three more touchdowns as a returner. Whittington is also a standout at defensive back, where he recorded six interceptions and returned two for scores.
A 6-foot-1, 198-pound prospect, Whittington is ranked as the nation’s No. 25 player, No. 5 wide receiver and the No. 4 player in Texas, per the 247Sports Composite rankings.
