Keldon Johnson won’t be the only elite hoops talent on campus this weekend.
According to ESPN’s Jeff Borzello, Portland Jefferson (Ore.) power forward Kamaka Hepa will take his official visit to the Forty Acres on Saturday as No. 23 Texas hosts Maryland to kick off the 2017 football season.

The 6-foot-10, 210-pound power forward is ranked No. 52 nationally and No. 13 at his position, according to the 247Sports Composite ranking. Hepa made an unofficial visit to Austin over the summer after receiving an offer from the Longhorns following his sophomore season.
If Shaka Smart can earn his commitment, Hepa would add depth and versatility to the 2018 class, as Texas already holds commitments from Austin Westlake small forward Brock Cunningham and Cibolo Steele small forward Gerald Liddell.
Hepa also holds offers from Gonzaga and the University of Southern California, in addition to his offer from Texas. He is set to make his official visit with the Bulldogs on Sept. 8.
