Once again, an athletic, versatile, multi-positional prospect had picked up an offer from the Texas Longhorns.
The latest example came on Tuesday evening, as Cottage Grove (Minn.) East Ridge small forward Kendall Brown notched a Texas offer, he announced via Twitter.

With Texas becoming the latest to jump into the mix with the five-star forward, Brown’s offer list is now up to seven, with invitations also stemming from Creighton, Iowa, Iowa State, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Saint Louis. Of that group, Brown has already made early visits to Iowa, Minnesota, Creighton, and Iowa State, as well as Houston.
Brown now becomes just the sixth 2021 prospect to add an offer from the Longhorns, and only the third small forward, joining Portland (Ore.) product Ben Gregg and local Austin St. Andrew’s Episcopal School star KJ Adams.
At 6’7, 190 pounds, Brown is ranked as the No. 25 player in the 2021 class, the No. 6 small forward, and the top-ranked prospect in Minnesota, per the 247Sports Composite.
