Texas is still in the mix with one of the nation’s top athlete prospects.
On Saturday, Baton Rouge (La.) University Lab product Christian Harris announced his top 10, and Texas was among those named, along with Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Mississippi State, LSU, Georgia, Florida State and Texas A&M.

Harris holds 23 total offers to date.
A four-star prospect, Harris is listed as a wide receiver and a cornerback, but the Longhorns are recruiting the 6’2, 225-pounder as a linebacker. However, the ‘Horns have work to do in Harris’ recruitment, as there’s been relatively little chatter indicating that Texas is a threat to programs such as Alabama and LSU.
The Crimson Tide and Tigers own all of Harris’ Crystal Ball picks.
The Louisiana native is ranked as the nation’s No. 208 player, No. 16 athlete and the No. 10 player in Louisiana, per the 247Sports composite.
