Texas has put an offer on the table for one of the top 2020 offensive guard prospects in the country, as Ferndale (Wa.) product announced an offer from the Longhorns on Saturday while in Austin for the spring game.
Extremely honored and very grateful to have received an offer from The University of Texas! Thank you @CoachTomHerman @CoachHand @TexasFootball #Hookem pic.twitter.com/GOG09GiJZQ

Rated as a four-star prospect, Hatchett has already amassed 16 offers, including invitations from Oklahoma, Stanford, TCU, Washington, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State and USC.
His Crystal Ball is entirely in favor of Washington at this point.
However, Hatchett has ties to the state of Texas and as evident by him making the lengthy trek from Washington on his own dime, he has significant interest in the Longhorns. Texas reciprocated that interest by making the 6-foot-5, 275-pound Hatchett the first 2020 offensive guard prospect to pick up an offer from Herb Hand and the Longhorns.
Hatchett is ranked as the nation’s No. 157 player, the No. 5 offensive guard prospect and the No. 3 player in Washington, per 247Sports.
