One of the top 2020 prospects in the nation is now on the Texas Longhorns radar.

After visiting the Forty Acres for the Longhorns spring game, elite League City Clear Creek offensive tackle Chad Lindberg left campus with a Texas offer in hand.

Rated as one of the top 75 prospects in his class, per 247Sports, Lindberg’s offer list reflects his upside. In addition to Texas, Lindberg holds invitations to play at Georgia, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU and Texas A&M have each extended offers, as well, among others. His list will be much larger by the end of the summer.

He’s now just one of two 2020 offensive tackle targets with a Texas offer, joining Marietta (Ga.) product Jake Wray.

To this point, each of Lindberg’s two Crystal Ball projections favor Arkansas, where he visited in mid-March, but his recruitment is still in the early stages. Lindberg also plans to visit Texas A&M, TCU, SMU and LSU throughout the coming months.

A 6-foot-6, 306-pound prospect, Lindberg is ranked as the nation’s No. 72 player, the No. 12 offensive tackle and the No. 10 player in Texas, per 247Sports.
