4-star CB Chester Kimbrough sets official visit to Texas

The New Orleans native will be on the Forty Acres in May.

Four-star cornerback Chester Kimbrough will be making his official visit to the Texas Longhorns on May 4th, per a report from 247Sports’ EJ Holland.

The New Orleans (Warren Easton-LA.) product is listed at 5-foot-10 and 168-pounds. Kimbrough is rated as the No. 24 ranked cornerback and No. 11 recruit in the state of Louisiana, per the 247Sports composite rankings.

After taking an visit to the Florida Gators for their spring game on April 14, Kimbrough has Florida firmly at the top of his list. While it is still early in his recruiting process, all 11 Crystal Ball projections point towards the Gators, so Texas certainly has some work to do in the coming weeks when Kimbrough arrives for his official visit, which will be his first trip to Austin since last summer.

Kimbrough also holds offers from Alabama, Michigan, Missouri, Ole Miss and others.
