The Texas Longhorns staff spent the past several days out west to see some of the top talent California and Arizona has to offer, and the result has been a wave of out-of-state offers.

The latest to join that list is Gilbert (Az.) Williams Field safety Noa Pola-Gates, who announced his Longhorns offer on Saturday.
A four-star prospect with a dozen offers to date, Pola-Gates is also receiving interest from Alabama, Arizona, Nebraska, Oregon, penman State, USC and Washington, among others.
However, the No. 5 prospect in Arizona recently named Alabama as his favorite in February, so much like virtually every other program in his recruitment, the Longhorns have their work cut out going forward.
At 6-foot-2, 180 pounds, Pola-Gates is ranked as the nation’s No. 287 player and the No. 20 safety in the country, per the 247Sports Composite.
