One of the top 2020 talents in Texas is now officially on Shaka Smart’s radar.
On Saturday, four-star Flower Mound shooting guard Caleb Lohner added an offer from the Texas Longhorns, which marks the first offer of the summer for the sharpshooting junior-to-be.

Texas A&M, Baylor, Kansas State, TCU, and BYU have all previously extended offers, as well, with the Cougars becoming the first to jump into the mix last July.
A 6’6, 200-pound wing, Lohner averaged 17.8 points and 8.5 rebounds per game as a sophomore, and connected on 38 percent of his three-point attempts. He now becomes just the third 2020 shooting guard to notch a Texas offer, joining five-star Georgia product Brandon Boston, and four-star Arkansas native Moses Moody.
Lohner is ranked as the nation’s No. 39 player, No. 11 shooting guard, and as the No. 4 player in Texas, per the 247Sports Composite.
