The minutes after top-ranked defensive tackle Ishamel Sopsher included the Texas Longhorns in his top seven, Sopsher’s teammate and four-star athlete out of Amite (La.) did the same, naming the ‘Horns in a bunch that includes Arkansas, Auburn, Ohio State, Alabama, LSU, and Ole Miss.

Arizona State, which hosted Lee for an official visit on June 1, was excluded from Lee’s top group, as was Texas A&M, Tennessee, Florida, Florida State, Miami, and Oklahoma State, among others.
As far as the seven still being considered are concerned, much like with his teammate, LSU is widely projected as the eventual landing spot. To date, 83 percent of Lee’s Crystal Ball favors the Tigers.
Although he plays safety as well, Lee is largely being recruited to play wide receiver, which is a area Texas is still aiming to address this cycle. The Longhorns do currently feature a trio of explosive pass catchers in Jake Smith, Jordan Whittington, and Demariyon Houston, but are in the market for another option on the outside.
At 6’2, 212 pounds, Lee is ranked as the nation’s No. 105 player, No. 7 athlete, and as the No. 5 player in Louisiana, per the 247Sports Composite.
