The nation’s top-ranked 2021 athlete prospect has now added the Texas Longhorns to his impressive invitation list.
On Sunday evening, the Longhorns put an offer on the table for highly touted Houston North Shore product Shadrach Banks, he announced on Twitter.

With Texas now in the mix, the sophomore is up to 11 offers with invitations stemming from Alabama, USC, Miami, Texas A&M, and Tennessee, among others.
He camped with the Aggies over the summer and unofficially visited College Station in the spring. To date, his only Crystal Ball projection favors Texas A&M.
A five-star prospect, Banks is now just one of five 2021 targets with a Texas offer. A teammate of key Texas 2020 target Zachary Evans, Banks’ season with North Shore began last Friday. In a 35-21 win over powerhouse Katy, Banks hauled in four receptions for 69 yards.
He’s ranked as the nation’s No. 1 athlete, and as the No. 7 player in Texas, per the 247Sports Composite.
