4-star 2021 ILB Branden Jennings notches Texas offer

Texas joins Ohio State and Florida State as prominent programs in pursuit of the Florida product.


Wednesday as now become a multiple offer day for Tom Herman and the Texas Longhorns, with the latest invitation going out to 2021 inside linebacker Branden Jennings, a top 100 prospect out of Jacksonville (Fla.) Sandalwood.

Jennings’ Texas offer becomes his 10th overall, as the Longhorns join Ohio State, Florida State, Miami, and Tennessee as programs interested in the Florida product’s services. He now becomes only the second 2021 linebacker to notch an offer from the Longhorns, joining top-ranked inside linebacker Kendrick Blackshire, a five-star prospect out of Mesquite Horn.

According to his 247Sports profile, Jennings camped with Florida State last summer, and thus far, the Seminoles are the only team holding a Crystal Ball projection.

A 6’3, 220-pound talent, Jennings is ranked as the nation’s No. 79 player, No. 4 outside linebacker, and as the No. 11 player in Florida, per 247Sports.
