In a matter of minutes, 2020 Prosper offensive tackle prospect Jake Majors will be pledged to the program of his choosing.
On Monday, the three-star talent took to Twitter to set his decision date for Thursday, Jan. 24, when he’ll choose between a bevy of options including Texas, Oklahoma, Stanford, Washington, Arkansas, and TCU, among numerous others.

Thus far, Majors has collected 14 offers and has made visits to programs including Arkansas, TCU, SMU, and of course, Texas, where he toured yet again just days ago for the Longhorns major recruiting weekend. Majors made a pair of trips to the Forty Acres last season, as well, with one coming for the win over USC, and then another during Sugar Bowl practices.
According to Majors’ 247Sports Crystal Ball, Texas is the team to beat down the stretch, with the Longhorns owning all six projections leading up to his announcement. Stanford had been considered a serious contender before last weekend’s visit to Austin.
At 6’4, 280 pounds, Majors is ranked as the nation’s No. 366 player, No. 40 offensive tackle, and as the No. 45 player in Texas, per the 247Sports Composite.
