The Texas Longhorns are one again eyeing Arizona in search of top-tier talent.

The latest example came on Sunday evening, as Texas put an offer on the table for Scottsdale (Az.) Saguaro outside linebacker Damian Sellers, he announced on Twitter.

A four-star talent currently dubbed as the nation’s No. 103 player and No. 4 outside linebacker, Sellers is a teammate of key Texas target and the nation’s No. 2 cornerback prospect, Kelee Ringo. Last season while sharing the field with Ringo, Sellers amassed 45 total tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, and 15 quarterback hurries, per his MaxPreps profile.

Those efforts helped Sellers collect 18 scholarship invitations, as the Horns join the likes of USC, Alabama, Oregon, Florida, LSU, Michigan, Oklahoma, and Penn State, among others in the mix.

Sellers has previously visited USC, Oregon, and Alabama, but he’s yet to visit the Longhorns. Now one of only five uncommitted outside linebacker prospects with a Texas offer in hand, expect the Longhorns staff to push for Sellers to visit the Forty Acres in the near future.
