For the first time, Tom Herman and his staff have extended an offer to a 2022 prospect.
While in Austin this weekend for his second trip to the Forty Acres in as many months, Terrell defensive tackle Bear Alexander notched an offer from the Texas Longhorns, he announced on Twitter.

Alexander visited the Longhorns for Junior Day in mid-February, as well, and at the time, his only offers stemmed from Illinois State and Oklahoma State. This time around, Alexander’s Texas offer becomes his eighth overall his third of the month, as the Horns join Texas A&M, Florida, Baylor, and Arizona in the mix, among others.
During his debut season among the high school ranks, the 6’3, 330-pound Alexander totaled 58 tackles, one tackle for loss, and one sack en route to District 8-5A-II Defensive Newcomer of the Year honors.
Alexander is currently unranked.
