Tom Herman and his staff are once again looking west, as the Texas Longhorns are now the latest program to present an offer to Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco outside linebacker Kourt Williams, he announced on Twitter.

A four-star talent, Williams’ Texas offer pushes his total to 18 with Ohio State, Oklahoma, UCLA, USC, and Texas A&M serving as some of the headliners in his recruitment. To that end, Williams is fresh off of a weekend official visit with the Aggies, and has official visits planned to Oklahoma and Ohio State on May 3 and June 28, respectively. He’s also taken unofficial visits to Texas A&M, Clemson, and Penn State.

Ohio State owns two of his early Crystal Ball picks, as does UCLA.

With Texas jumping into the mix, albeit a bit late, Williams becomes the 10th outside linebacker prospect to pick up a Longhorns offer, though three others are currently committed elsewhere.

A 6’1, 216-pound talent with 4.6 40-yard dash speed, Williams tallied 74 tackles, four tackles for loss, two sacks, and two pass breakups as a junior.

Williams is ranked as the nation’s No. 326 player, No. 27 outside linebacker, and as the No. 28 player in California, per the 247Sports Composite.
