Arkansas, Kansas State, Illinois, and Houston are among the teams that didn’t survive Crawford’s cut.
After adding an offer from the Longhorns on Feb. 13, the three-star talent has toured Texas twice in as many months, visiting Austin for Junior Day and returning just weeks ago on March 15.
As a junior, Crawford excelled all over the field for John Tyler, which explains why he’s listed as an ‘athlete.’ In addition to totaling 269 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries, Crawford hauled in three receptions for 78 yards and another score. On the other side of the ball at cornerback, Crawford amassed 30 total tackles, 12 pass deflections, and two interceptions.
The Longhorns, which own each of his two Crystal Ball projections, are recruiting Crawford as the latter.
A 5’10, 170-pound prospect, Crawford is ranked as the nation’s No. 829 player, No. 62 athlete, and as the No. 109 player in Texas, per the 247Sports Composite.
