Just weeks after presenting Watson (La.) Live Oak product Jalen Lee with an offer, the Texas Longhorns have made the three-star defensive tackle’s top 10 list, he announced on Twitter.
Along with the Longhorns, Lee named Alabama, Oklahoma, Georgia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Florida, Texas A&M, and LSU as his top options.

The Longhorns offered Lee on April 30, and with Texas A&M jumping into the mix several days later on May 11, Lee owned 17 offers to evaluate prior to his initial list cut. Houston, Kansas, Louisiana, Louisiana Tech, Louisiana-Monroe, South Alabama, Southern Miss, and Tulane now find themselves on the outside of Lee’s recruitment looking in.
After seeing his stock soar since the turn of the year, Lee has been active on the recruiting trail, making visits to Alabama, LSU, Georgia, and Florida, to name a few. He also has his first official visit scheduled for Oklahoma on Aug. 31.
A 6’3, 285-pound talent, Lee is ranked as the nation’s No. 413 player, No. 37 defensive tackle, and as the No. 15 prospect in Louisiana, per the 247Sports Composite.
