The recruiting efforts of the Texas Longhorns staff have led them back to a familiar campus in the Peach State, as the program’s latest offer has been presented to 2021 Buford (Ga.) cornerback Malik Williams, according to a Tweet from his father, LeAnthony Williams Sr.

A product from the same high school program as Texas 2019 running back signee Derrian Brown, Williams stock is beginning to soar in short order, as he’s added seven of his eight offers throughout the past five days, including four on Wednesday, alone. In addition to the Longhorns, William added offers from Florida State, Louisville, and Maryland on Wednesday.
Thus far, his lone reported visit was to Georgia Tech on April 26.
With his Texas offer in hand, Williams becomes the fourth Georgia native in his class to earn an invitation from the Longhorns, and just the second prospect at his position to do so, joining five-star Virginia beach (Va.) Princess Anne product Tony Grimes.
The 6’0, 171-pound Williams is currently unranked.
