One of the top pass-catchers in California will soon be making his way to the Forty Acres.

According to a report from The Football Brainiacs, the Texas Longhorns are set to welcome Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra wide receiver LV Bunkley-Shelton for an unofficial visit on July 26.

A four-star talent, Bunkley-Shelton has only just recently been added to Texas’ big board, as the Longhorns extended an offer on June 7. Collectively, he boasts nearly two dozen offers, with invitations stemming from the likes of USC, Washington, Michigan, Oklahoma, and Oregon, and for good reason.

As a junior, Bunkley-Shelton, who is credited with a 4.66 40-yard dash and a 30-inch vertical leap, hauled in 81 receptions for 1,012 yards and three touchdowns.

The 5’11, 174-pound Bunkley-Shelton is ranked as the nation’s No. 252 player and No. 46 wide receiver, per the 247Sports Composite. He joins five-star Calabasas (Calif.) star Johnny Wilson as California wide receivers on the Longhorns’ radar.
