With a clear need for interior size and talent going forward, Chris Beard and the Texas Longhorns have put an offer on the table for Napa (Calif.) Prolific Prep center Yohan Traore, he announced on Thursday evening.

A 6’10, 225-pound prospect, Traore is originally from France, but arrived in the U.S. last year. Thus far, interest in his services primarily stems from the Big 12, as Texas becomes his fourth reported offer, alongside Kansas, TCU and UC Santa Barbera.
Each of his previous three offers rolled in on April 25.
“He will fit in perfectly in the USA because of his speed, ability to move, and ability to really rebound,” Prolific Prep Director Philippe Doherty told 247Sports. “He is very mobile and has a big-time motor which are requirements in today’s game for big men. His ability to move both offensively and defensively will increase his value both in division one and the NBA.”
He’s now the fourth 2022 center prospect to notch an offer from the Longhorns.
Traore is currently unranked.
