Quickly becoming a national target, Bain’s Texas offer pushes his total to 16, as the Horns join others including Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Penn State and Tennessee in pursuit of his services.
A force in the trenches, Bain played in only six of nine games last season, but amassed 38 tackles, 25 tackles 13 sacks and nine forced fumbles while helping guide Miami Central to a 6A state title.
He now becomes the seventh 2023 defensive tackle to notch an offer from defensive tackles coach Bo Davis.
At this stage, the 6’2, 250-pound Bain is ranked as the nation’s No. 8 defensive tackle and as the No. 130 player nationally, per 247Sports.
